THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R & B ALBUM SALES

Photobucket Leading the way this week is Taylor Swift's Red at No. 1 with 196,200 sold copies. According to Nielsen Soundscan, her new LP has sold 1,749,100 copies after three weeks in stores. R&B star Ne-Yo's R.E.D. debuted on the chart at No. 4. With a solid seven days under his belt, the crooner's newest offering has pushed out 66,100 records. Maybach Music Group rapper Meek Mill's Dreams & Nightmares fell six slots to No. 8 with 41,100. With 14 days knocked out, Meek's long-awaited solo effort has sold 205,900 units. West Coast rap newcomer Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city moved down four spots to No. 9 with 40,100. With three weeks in the books, the Aftermath rapper's studio debut has sold 344,600 copies. R&B singer Miguel's Kaleidoscope Dream fell six spots to No. 32 with 14,100. Headed into week seven, his new LP has sold 169,600 records to date. Singer-turned-actress Brandy's Two Eleven dropped nine spots to No. 38 with 10,500. After a full month on store shelves, her newest offering sits at 110,700 sold pieces. Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U. Story slipped six slots to No. 41 with 9,800. Moving into his 14th week, the artist formerly known as Tity Boi's solo debut has sold 374,500 records. Music duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' The Heist slipped eight spots to No. 47 with 8,200. After five weeks, their new LP has moved 125,700 copies. Evening things out in Top 50 is G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer moving down six slots to No. 48 with 7,900. With two months knocked out, their compilation has pushed out 347,900 pieces. West Coast legends E-40 and Too $hort's History: Function Music debuted on the chart at No. 62. With a full week in the books, their joint effort has sold 6,500 copies. E-40 and Too $hort's History: Mob Music also debuted on the chart this week at No. 71. After seven days, their additonal joint effort has moved 5,800 records. Brooklyn rapper Saigon's Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 2 opened up at No. 189. With a full week knocked out, the "Yard Father's" new LP has sold 2,800 copies.
