This Week Hip-Hop & R&B Album Sales

According to Nielsen SoundScan, Swift's new LP has sold 1,552,800 units after two weeks on store shelves. Maybach Music Group rapper Meek Mill's Dreams & Nightmares opened at No. 2. With seven days knocked out, Mill's long-awaited debut has sold 164,800 records. West Coast rap newcomer Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city dropped three slots to No. 5 with 62,800. After two weeks on the charr, Lamar's studio debut has sold 304,500 copies. R&B singer Miguel's Kaleidoscope Dream dropped ten slots to No. 26 with 14,400. With five weeks in the books, his new LP has shelled out 155,500 records. Fellow singer Brandy's Two Eleven fell 19 slots to No. 29 with 13,300. Headed into her first full month on shelves, the former television star's new LP has pushed out 100,300 pieces. Midwest rapper Tech N9ne's Boiling Point (K.O.D. Collection) debuted at No. 30. With seven days in the books, Tech's newest offering has sold 13,000 records. Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U. Story fell eight spots to No. 35 with 10,900. With 12 weeks knocked out, his new debut has pushed out 364,700 copies. Music duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' The Heist slipped five spots to No. 39 with 9,800. After a month, their new LP has sold 117,500 pieces. G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer dropped seven slots to No. 42 with 9,200. Moving into its eighth month, the compilation project has sold 340,000 records. Boot Camp Clik rapper Sean Price's Mic Tyson debuted on the chart this week at No. 59. With a solid week under his belt, Sean P's new LP has pushed out 7,000 copies.
