THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES



Leading the pack this week is rap veteran group Beastie Boys' Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 remaining at No. 6 with 24,400 behind Mumford & Sons' Sigh No More (25,200), Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party (28,800), Now 38 (50,100), Seether's Holding Onto Strings Better (61,300) and Adele's 21 (137,600). According to Nielsen SoundScan, Beastie Boys' new LP has shelled 194,300 sold discs after three weeks in stores.
Comedic rap trio Lonely Island's Turtleneck & Chain fell four slots to No. 7 with 23,600. After 14 days in stores, their new LP has sold 91,500 discs.
Producer Danger Mouse's Rome debuted on the chart at No. 11. With seven days under his belt, Mouse's new project stands at 22,800 sold records.
Latin singer Jennifer Lopez's Love? moved three positions outside of Top 10 to No. 12 with 22,000. Headed into her first full month, the singer's new LP has sold 138,400 copies.
Pop star Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans remained at No. 18 with 18,600. After 33 weeks, the disc has sold 1,036,000 records.
Rapper Tinie Tempah's Disc-overy debuted on the chart this week at No. 21. With a week in the books, his new LP has sold 16,400 units.
R&B star Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. fell three slots to No. 23 with 15,700. With nine weeks under his belt, Chris Breezy's latest offering stands at 568,300 sold copies.
Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers dropped three slots to No. 26 with 15,000. After two months in stores, the "Black & Yellow" hitmaker's Atlantic Records' debut has sold 402,500 copies.

Young Money star Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday remained at No. 37 with 12,500. Headed into her 27th week, the "Barbie's" new album stands at 1,381,500 sold units.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Loud dropped three positions to No. 38 with 12,400. With 27 weeks in the books, RiRi's latest offering has sold 1,270,700 copies.
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin's Hello Fear moved down five slots to No. 39 with 12,300. After nine weeks in stores, his new disc stands at 243,900 sold records.
