THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES



Leading the pack this week is comedian rap trio Lonely Island's Turtleneck & Chain which debuted at No. 3 behind Now 38 (68,400) and Adele's 21 (156,000). According to Nielsen SoundScan, their new album has sold 67,700 units to date.
Odd Future leader Tyler the Creator's Goblin opened at No. 5. With seven days in the books, his sophomore album has shelled out 45,500 records. [Check out Tyler the Creator's Score]
The Beastie Boys' Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 moved down four slots to No. 6 with 41,700. With two weeks knocked out, the hip-hop veteran crew's latest offering has pushed out 169,900 records.
Latin singer Jennifer Lopez's Love? dropped four slots to No. 9 with 33,300. Heading into her third week, her new LP has sold 116,400 records to date.
Soulful singer Raphael Saadiq's Stone Rollin' debuted on the chart this week at No. 14. With seven days in the books, his new LP currently rests at 21,600 sold units.
Pop star Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans slid three spots to No. 18 with 19,900. With 32 weeks in the books, Mars' latest album has hit platinum status with 1,017,300 sold records.
R&B singer Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. dropped a spot to No. 20 with 18,000. With two months under his belt, the crooner's new LP stands at 552,600 sold pieces.
Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers received a two-slot boost to No. 23 with 16,300. With seven weeks in the books, Khalifa's Atlantic Records debut has sold 387,500.
Renowned singer Sade's Ultimate Collection fell 23 slots to No. 30 with 14,600. After 14 days in stores, her greatest hits compilation has sold 52,300 pieces.
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin's Hello Fear moved down 12 slots to No. 34 with 13,100. With eight weeks knocked out, his latest offering stands at 232,900.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Loud remained at No. 35 with 12,800. Moving into her 26th week, her new LP has sold 1,258,400 records.
Young Money's star Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday received a one-slot boost to No. 37 with 12,600. After 25 weeks on the chart, her debut album stands at 1,369,000 sold units.
Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco's Lasers jumped up 13 slots to No. 43 with 11,300. With 10 weeks in the books, Fiasco's long-awaited third solo album stands at 379,400 scanned units.
R&B singer Musiq Soulchild's MusiqInTheMagiq dropped 36 slots to No. 44 with 10,900. With 14 weeks knocked out, his new LP stands at 45,700 sold records.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery moved down three slots to No. 47 with 10,300. With 47 weeks in the books, Slim Shady's latest offering has sold 3,853,000 pieces.
R&B singer Miguel's All I Want Is You evens out Top 50 moving down four slots to No. 49. After 18 weeks, his album rests at 165,700 sold record
