BREAKING: LIL WAYNE HOSPITALIZED IN TEXAS

TMZ has learned. A source close to Weezy -- real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. -- tells us, right after the plane touched down ... the rapper was transported to a local hospital to get treatment on Thursday afternoon. We're told Wayne was at the hospital for several hours ... he checked out around 6 PM local time. It's unclear if doctors made an exact diagnosis -- but we're told Wayne is "doing better.

This Week Hip-Hop & R&B Album Sales

R&B veteran Brandy's Two Eleven debuted on the chart at No. 3 behind Mumford & Sons' Babel (73,600) and Jason Aldean's Night Train (409,400). According to Nielsen SoundScan, Brandy's new solo album has shelled out 64,700 copies in its opening week. Fellow singer Miguel's Kaleidoscope Dream moved up four slots to No. 7 with 22,000. With three weeks under his belt, his new LP has moved 123,400 records. Music newcomers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' The Heist fell nine spots to No. 11 with 18,100. Headed into their third week, the duo's new LP has shelled out 96,600 copies. Bad Boy Records rapper Machine Gun Kelly's Lace Up dropped 18 slots to No. 22 with 14,700. After two weeks on store shelves, MGK's debut LP has sold 65,400 units. G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer album slipped nine slots to No. 29 with 13,400. Headed into week six, the new compilaiton effort has pushed out 319,900 copies. Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U. Story fell four spots to No. 35 with 12,200. With ten weeks under his belt, Chainz's debut LP has moved 341,900 records. R&B singer Bobby V's self-titled LP debuted on the chart this week at No. 91. After seven days, his LP has pushed out 5,000 records.

THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES

Leading the charge this week is P!nk's Truth About Love at No. 4 with 94,300 behind No Doubt's Push & Shove (115,300), Green Day's Uno! (139,100) and Mumford & Sons' Babel (599,900). According to Nielsen SoundScan, the pop star's newest LP has sold 374,700 copies after a week on store shelves. Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 1 debuted on the chart this week at No. 5. With seven days knocked out, Lupe's new LP has sold 89,000 copies. With two weeks in the books, the star-studded compilation effort has sold 260,800 pieces. Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U. Story fell three slots to No. 25 with 14,600. Moving into his second full month of availability, Chainz's solo debut has sold 302,800 copies. R&B star Trey Songz's Chapter V remained at No. 38 with 10,100. With six weeks out of the way, Trigger Trey's newest offering stands at 238,400 pushed units. Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't received a three-slot boost to No. 44 with 9,300. With week nine down, Ricky Rozay's latest solo LP stands at 417,000 sold records. Odd Future affiliate Frank Ocean's Channel Orange moved down 17 spots to No. 47 with 8,900. With three months in the books, Ocean's new LP has sold 332,500 pieces. Christian rapper Lecrae's Gravity fell eight spots to No. 50. With a full month under his belt, the emcee's newest project has sold 111,100 copies.
