THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES


"Leading the pack this week is Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. which remained at No. 9 with 36,500 behind Paul Simon's So Beautiful or So What (36,800), Mumford & Sons' Sigh No More (38,800), Alison Kraus & Union's Paper Airplane (42,300), Britney Spears' Femme Fatale (45,200), Lemonade Mouth (69,100), Foo Fighters' Wasting Light (72,100), Glee Cast's Glee: The Music Presents (86,200) and Adele's 21 (153,000). According to Nielsen SoundScan, Brown's latest album has sold 484,900 records after five weeks in stores.
Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers rolled out of the Top 10 moving down four slots to No. 12 with 33,800. After a full month in stores, Wiz's Atlantic Records debut has sold 328,100 copies to date.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Loud received a one-slot boost to No. 16 with 28,200. After 23 weeks in the books, her latest offering has sold 1,209,100 records.
Pop star Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans moved back into the Top 20 with a 10-slot boost to No. 18 with 25,100. After 29 weeks, his new album has sold 949,000 copies.
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin's Hello Fear dropped out of the Top 20 moving down eight slots to No. 22 with 21,300. Headed into his sixth week, Franklin's latest offering stands at 188,500 records.
Animated band Gorillaz's Fall debuted on the chart this week at No. 24. After seven days, their new LP has shelled out 21,600 records.
Soulful singer Jennifer Hudson's I Remember Me fell 13 positions to No. 32 with 17,400. With five weeks knocked out, her new album currently stands at 290,400 sold units.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery slipped two slots to No. 35 with 16,500. With 44 weeks knocked out, his latest solo project rests at 16,500 sold pieces.
Young Money star Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday moved back five positions to No. 36 with 16,100. After 22 weeks, her debut album now stands at 1,329,300 sold records.
The Black Eyed Peas' Beginning received a four-slot boost to No. 39 with 14,200. With 21 weeks knocked out, their new offering has shelled out 639,500 units to date.
Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco's Lasers dropped ten slots to No. 44 with 12,900. After seven weeks in stores, Fiasco's third solo album stands at 346,900 sold pieces.
Evening things out in Top 50 this week is Marsha Ambrosius' Late Nights & Early Mornings which dropped 12 slots to No. 50 with 11,800. After two months, her new album has sold 250,100 copies.

"Leading the pack this week is Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers which dropped three spots to No. 5 with 59,300 sold copies behind Hollywood Dead's American Tragedy (66,000), Radiohead's King of Limbs (66,900), Britney Spears' Femme Fatale (75,200) and Adele's 21 (88,200). According to Nielsen Soundscan, Wiz's Atlantic Records debut has sold 257,500 units after two weeks in stores.
R&B; singer Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. dropped out of the Top 5 moving down two slots to No. 6 with 51,100. Headed into his first full month on store shelves, Breezy's new LP has shelled out 413,300 records.
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin's Hellor Fear slipped one slot to No. 10 with 31,100. After three weeks of availability, his latest effort has moved 148,900 units.
R&B; singer Jennifer Hudson's I Remember Me slipped out of the Top 10 moving down four positions to No. 11 with 30,600. With three weeks in the books, the former "American Idol" star's new LP has sold 252,000 records.

Shady Records CEO Eminem's Recovery slipped two positions to No. 29 with 15,400. With 42 weeks knocked out, Em's new solo LP has sold 3,788,500 records.
R&B; singer Marsha Ambrosius' Late Nights & Early Mornings fell nine slots to No. 30 with 15,100. Moving into her seventh week, the singer's latest effort has sold 225,300 units.
R&B; crew Mint Condition's 7 debuted on the chart this week at No. 33. With seven days to their name, the group's new LP has sold 14,700 records.
West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg's Doggumentary took a hard hit falling 27 positions to No. 35 with 13,600. After two weeks in stores, his new solo album has shelled out 64,200 copies.
Pop group Black Eyed Peas' The Beginning received a five-slot boost to No. 43 with 12,400. After 19 weeks on the chart, their new LP stands at 614,100 sold copies"
