THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES


"Leading the pack this week is Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. which debuted atop all releases at No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Brown's fourth solo album pushed 271,000 in its first-week in stores.
R&B; singer Jennifer Hudson's I Remember Me also debuted on the chart this week at No. 2. After seven days in stores, her new LP has sold 165,100 copies.
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin's Hello Fear landed on the chart this week at No. 5. With a week under his belt, his new album has sold 78,800 records to date.
R&B; singer Bobby V's Fly on the Wall opened up at No. 9 with 37,600. With a week in the books, the new LP has sold 37,600 copies.

R&B; singer Marsha Ambrosius' Late Nights & Early Mornings slipped six positions to No. 16 with 25,500. With a month in the books, her new solo offering has sold 190,300 records.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Loud moved down three slots to No. 17 with 25,200. Headed into her 20th week, her new album has reached 1,114,800 sold discs.

Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday fell seven positions to No. 20 with 22,400. Headed into her 19th week, the Barbie's debut release stands at 1,261,400 sold records.
Pop star Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans dropped five slots to No. 21 with 21,900. After 25 weeks in the books, his new LP has sold 865,600 units.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery fell from Top 20 moving down eight slots to No. 27 with 18,700. With 40 weeks knocked out, Slim Shady's latest offering rests at 3,755,600 sold units.
Pop star Ke$ha's I Am The Dance Commander debuted on the chart this week at No. 36 with 14,500. After seven days in stores, her new LP has shelled out 14,500 records.
Award-winning group Black Eyed Peas' The Beginning fell 11 slots to No. 39 with 13,200. Headed into their 18th week, the crew's newest album stands at 589,400 sold copies.
Evening things out in Top 50 is R. Kelly's Love Letter which fell five slots to No. 44 with 11,300. Headed into his fourth month of availability, Kells' new record stands at 496,600 sold pieces."
