THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUMS SALES

The Black Eyed Peas lead the pack this week as E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) lands atop its urban competition. However it fell to No. 5 as Now 31 (169,300 copies) debuted No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the pop group's new album sold 69,800 discs this week which brings the Peas' total sales to 609,900 units after a month in stores.

R&B singer Jeremih's self-titled debut opened at No. 6 this week. With seven days under his belt, the "Birthday Sex" singer's new album has sold 59,000 records.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Relapse slid four slots to No. 9 with 38,600. After seven weeks in stores, Slim Shady's fifth solo project has sold 1,207,400 copies.

DJ Khaled protege Ace Hood's sophomore project Ruthless hit No. 23 in it's first week, scanning 19,700 pieces.

"Hi Hater" hitmaker Maino's long-awaited If Tomorrow Comes... album also debuted this week resting at No. 25. With a week under his belt, the Brooklyn, New York-bred emcee's debut has sold 18,300 records.

Grammy-winning singer Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce fell four spots to No. 31 with 14,900. Going into her 34th week on shelves, the singer's third solo project has sold 2,283,100 records to date.

R&B singer Ginuwine's comeback album Man's Thoughts dropped 26 slots to No. 35 with 13,300. After two weeks, the singer's new project has sold 50,700 units.

R&B singer Keri Hilson's In A Perfect World also took a slight hit this week moving four spots to No. 41 with 11,600. Headed into her 16th week, the singer's debut album has sold 377,400 copies.

The Wu-Tang Clan is back with the release of Chamber Music which debuted at No. 49. Produced by the RZA and released via E1 [formerly Koch Records], the latest Wu offering sold 9,600 units after a week in stores.

Evening things out within Top 50 is Beyonce's compilation disc Above & Beyonce which dropped 15 slots to No. 50 with 9,500. After three weeks in stores, the singer's latest project has sold 34,400 copies.
