This Week Hip-Hop & R&B Album Sales

Leading the pack this week is G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer at No. 2 behind P!nk's Truth About Love (250,000). According to Nielsen SoundScan, the compilation album sold 205,000 copies after seven days of availability. [Check out G.O.O.D. Music's Score] Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U. Story dropped nine slots to No. 22 with 17,000. After six weeks on store shelves, his long-awaited debut has shelled out 288,000 copies. Midwest rap veteran Tech N9ne's E.B.A.H. debuted on the chart at No. 30. With a week under his belt, Tech's latest solo offering has pushed out 14,000 records. Christian rapper Lecrae's Gravity fell 27 slots to No. 41 with 11,000. Headed into third week, his newest solo effort has sold 103,000 pieces. Minnesota rapper Brother Ali's Mourning In America & Dreaming In Color debuted on the chart at No. 43. With a solid week knocked out, his new effort has scanned 10,100 records. Evening things out in Top 50 is Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't falling 18 spots to No. 46 with 10,000. With nine weeks in the books, Ricky Rozay's new LP has moved 408,000 units. West Coast rapper Kreayshawn's long-awaited Somethin' 'Bout Kreay debuted on the chart this week. After seven days in stores, her debut has sold 3,900 pieces.
