This Week Hip Hop & R&B Album Sales

Leading the way this week is Slaughterhouse's Welcome to: Our House at No. 2 behind TobyMac's Eye On It (69,000). With seven days in the books, the group's long-awaited sophomore album has shelled out 51,800 units. [Check out Slaugterhouse's Score] R&B singer Trey Songz's Chapter V slipped two notches to No. 3 with 41,400. Headed into his third week on store shelves, the soulful crooner's newest LP has moved 176,500 pieces. Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U. Story fell five spots to No. 7 with 29,400. Moving into his first full month of availability, the artist formerly known as Tity Boi's LP has sold 224,400 units. Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't dropped six slots to No. 14 with 20,900. After five weeks in stores, the LP has sold 370,700 records. Miami radio personality DJ Khaled's Kiss The Ring fell 13 positions to No. 17 with 14,600. With two weeks under his belt, Khaled's Cash Money release has pushed 55,200 pieces. Grammy-winning singer Usher's Looking 4 Myself received a 22-slot boost to No. 24 with 11,500. After three months on store shelves, it has sold 357,700 copies. R&B singer Chris Brown's Fortune also received a nice boost moving up 14 spots to No. 25 with 11,300. Moving into his tenth week, Chris Breezy's latest solo offering has sold 284,900 units. Fellow singer Dwele's Greater Than One debuted on the chart at No. 30. With seven days penciled in, his new LP has sold 10,800 copies. Rap veteran Nas' Life Is Good fell eight spots to No. 38 with 9,600. Headed into his second month, Nasty Nas' newest offering has sold 281,400 pieces. Odd Future affiliate Frank Ocean's Channel Orange dropped five slots to No. 45 with 8,700. With a full two months knocked out, Ocean's new LP stands at 281,200 sold pieces. Evening things out in Top 50 is Drake's Take Care which dropped 19 positions to No. 47 with 8,400. After 42 weeks, Drizzy's sophomore effort has sold 1,871,600 copies.
