THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES



Late iconic singer Michael Jackson's Michael opened the charts this week at No. 5 with 150,000 behind Jackie Evancho's O Holy Night (151,000), Glee: X-Mas (160,000), Susan Boyle's The Gift (240,000) and Taylor Swift's Speak Now (276,000). Singer/actor Jamie Foxx's Best Night Of My Life debuted on the chart this week at No. 6. After a week under his belt, Foxx's new album has sold 144,000 records.
Grammy-winning singer Eminem's Recovery received a 15-slot boost to No. 7 with 137,000. Heading into his 28th week, Slim Shady's new album currently rests at 3,351,300 sold units.
Young Money's Nicki Minaj debut album, Pink Friday, remained at No. 8 with 133,000. With five weeks to her name, the rapper's long-awaited debut has shelled out 791,400 scanned discs. [Check out Nicki Minaj's Score]
R&B singer Keyshia Cole's Calling All Hearts debuted on the chart this week landing at No. 9. After seven days in stores, the singer's latest LP pushed out 128,000 records.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Loud moved up a notch to No. 10 with 111,000. After six weeks of going strong, the video vixen's new solo effort has moved 690,000 copies.
Right outside the Top 10 is Keri Hilson's No Boys Allowed which debuted at No. 11. With one week to her name, the singer's new album has pushed out 102,000 records.
Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy moved up four slots to No. 19 with 86,000. With six weeks in the books, Yeezy's new comeback LP has shelled 824,000 sold records. [Check out Kanye West's Score]
Incarcerated rapper T.I.'s No Mercy moved down five slots to No. 26 with 72,000. After 21 days, the "King of the South's" new LP rests atop 301,000 sold discs. [Check out T.I.'s Score]
Evening things out in Top 50 is Diddy/Dirty Money's Last Train to Paris which fell 36 slots to No. 43 with 39,000. After two weeks in stores, the album currently rests at 140,000 sold units.
