THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUMS SALES

Fabolous - "Loso's Way" Album Pictures, Images and Photos

Fabolous' highly-anticipated Loso's Way album landed on top of all releases this week securing No. 1. According to Nielsen Soundscan, F-a-b-o's fifth solo project was able to scoop up 99,000 sold discs after seven days in stores making it the number one album in the country.

Soulful singer Maxwell's Black Summer's Night stays put at No. 3 neither gaining or losing any positions with 55,200. After one month in stores, the singer's comeback album has reached gold status with 549,700 discs sold to date.

Pop group The Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) re-entered the Top 5 by moving one position up to No. 5 with 49,000. After two months on shelves, their latest release has sold 828,000 records to date.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Relapse slid one slot to No. 13 with 23,500. Going into his third month of availability, the rapper's comeback album continues to sell with 1,318,800 sold discs.

R&B singer Jordin Sparks' Battlefield was shot down 14 slots to No. 21 with 17,700. Her new album has sold 65,600 units after two weeks in stores.

Singer Jeremih's self-titled debut moved five slots up with 15,400. Moving into his sixth week, the "Birthday Sex" singer's new project has sold 138,200 records to date.

Rap veteran Twista's Category F5 fades away 11 positions to No. 30 with 13,100. After three weeks on shelves, the rapper's Capitol/EMI debut rests at 77,300 pushed units.

Grammy-winning singer Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce moved down two slots to No. 34 with 11,800. With 37 weeks under her belt, the singer's third solo project has sold 2,336,200 records.

R&B singer Joe's Signature took a slight hit this week moving down 13 positions to No. 39 with 10,500. After three weeks in stores, the singer's new project has sold 75,000 pieces.

Singer Chrisette Michele's Epiphany received a five-slot boost to No. 48 with 9,700. After 13 weeks in stores, her latest effort has sold 243,900 records.

Evening things out in Top 50 is Keri Hilson's In A Perfect World which slid seven slots back into the charts to rest at No. 50 with 8,500. Going into her 20th week, the singer's debut album has sold 411,100 copies.
