THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUMS SALES

Grammy-winning singer Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce dropped one spot to No. 3 this week with 51,500 discs. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the singer's third album has sold a total of 1,736,800 albums after 11 weeks in stores.

Mega producer Kanye West's 808's & Heartbreak also slipped a notch landing at No. 5 with 33,200 scanned units. After 10 weeks on shelves, Ye's fourth solo project has sold 1,257,300 copies.

The 2009 Grammy Nominees, featuring music by T-Pain, Ne-Yo and Lil' Wayne, opened up at No. 6. After it's first seven days, the compilation disc has sold 33,100 units.

Academy Award-winning singer Jamie Foxx's Intuition received a one-position boost securing No. 7 with 31,600 sold discs. With seven weeks under his belt, the singer's latest project stands at 541,500 scanned pieces.

Grammy-nominated singer Keyshia Cole's A Different Me dropped two spots to No. 8 with 30,900 albums sold. After seven weeks of availability, Cole's newest release has moved 632,500 units.

Konvict labelhead Akon's Freedom jumped up two spots to No. 15 with 21,800 scanned discs. Headed into his tenth week, the singer's third album rests at 443,700 albums.

The "King of the South" T.I.'s Paper Trail also received a two-position jump landing at No. 16 with 20,600 sold pieces. After 18 weeks on shelves, Tip's sixth solo project has secured 1,638,300 sold copies.

R&B hottie Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad remains on the charts moving down one slot to No. 23 with 16,000 albums scanned. With 87 weeks in the books, the singer's latest project has sold 2,328,100 records.

The Notorious soundtrack dropped 15 slots to No. 24 with 15,700 pushed albums. After three weeks in stores, the compilation has sold 87,700 units.

Grammy-nominated rapper Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter III slid up one spot to No. 25 with 15,600 scanned copies. Weezy's latest album has sold 2,965,000 after 34 weeks in stores.

R&B singer Ne-Yo's Year of the Gentleman remained at No. 29 with 14,800 scanned albums. After 20 weeks of availability, the singer's third solo project has sold 856,900 copies.

Grammy-winning singer Mariah Carey's Ballads dropped 21 spots to No. 31 with 14,800 sold albums. With two weeks completed, the singer's compilation disc has sold 43,400 units.

Southern singer Anthony Hamilton's Point of it All moved up one position to No. 38 with 12,500 scanned discs. Headed into his second month in stores, the singer's newest release has sold 251,500 records.

Rapper-turned-actor Ludacris' Theater of the Mind fell six spots to No. 40 with 12,300 sold albums. Luda's sixth solo project has moved 530,500 pieces after ten weeks in stores.

Southern rap star Plies' Da REAList remained at No. 42 with 11,900 discs moved. After seven weeks in stores, the rapper's latest release stands at 241,400 sold records.

Closing out the Top 50 this week is John Legend's Evolver, which fell five slots to No. 46. After 14 weeks on shelves, the singer's third album has sold 513,800 albums.
