Lil’ Wayne and Kanye West are among the rappers on Billboard’s Top 20 Music Money Makers List of 2008. Wayne came in at number-12, having generated 57-million dollars in 2008. Kanye rounded out the Top 20 with 42-million. Madonna topped the list with 242-million dollars worth of earnings.
Billboard calculates its numbers by including record sales, touring revenue, box office receipts and radio play. –Chris Morrow
