Soul singer John Legend reminds fans why he's known for making G.O.O.D. music as Evolver secures the No. 4 position on this week's charts. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Legend's third album was able to push an impressive 132,800 units after seven days in stores.
Tip's Paper Trail stays within Top 10 this week reaching No. 7 and selling 76,600 copies. The self-proclaimed "King of the South" has officially surpassed a million units sold with his sixth studio album standing steady at 1,047,600 after five weeks in stores.
R&B superstar Jennifer Hudson has also been able to keep discs flying out of stores sliding to No. 14 with 31,800 copies of her self-titled debut sold. The Academy Award winning singer has moved a total of 386,700 albums after five weeks in stores.
Ne-Yo shows no signs of slowing down his gentleman swagger as Year of the Gentleman dropped seven slots to No. 15, pushing 26,600 units this week. After six weeks on shelves, the album continues to pass gold status with a total of 548,000 copies out the door.
After recently celebrating the birth of his new son, Lil' Wayne may also be cheering the success of Tha Carter III as it takes a firm hold of No. 20 this week selling 23,000 copies. Cash Money Records' top-selling artist has sold a total of 2,624,700 units on his latest release after 21 weeks in stores.
Video vixen Rihanna took a slight slip out of Top 20 as her re-released version of Good Girl Gone Bad slid down 11 spots to No. 23 selling a solid 20,100 albums this week. After nearly a year and a half on the charts, she is nearing double platinum status with 1,955,900 copies sold.
Offering fans a new set of anthems, Young Jeezy's The Recession has also slid down a few notches to No. 28 selling 17,400 copies this week. His third Def Jam release is led by the smash hit "Put On" and after nine weeks on shelves continues to pass gold with 579,000 copies sold.
British soul singer Leona Lewis refuses to leave the charts as her platinum-certified album Spirit hitting No. 31 and selling 16,000 copies this week. The UK singer's debut has moved a solid 1,218,600 albums after 30 weeks in the US.
R&B newcomer Jazmine Sullivan's Fearless falls to No. 32 on the charts this week with 15,000 scanned albums. Led by the single "Need U Bad," Sullivan's debut album has slowly turned out sales with 192,100 units sold after a month in stores.
The Game's L.A.X. drops ten spots to No. 35 with a total of 14,100 albums sold this week. Chuck Taylor's third album moves past gold status after 10 weeks in stores with a total of 546,000 copies out the door.
Blue-eyed soul singer Robin Thicke continues to slip on the charts landing at No. 39 this week selling 13,300 units of Something Else. Following-up his platinum selling album The Evolution of Robin Thicke, the crooner's latest release continues its steady pace with 231,500 copies sold.
Popular 90's R&B singer Jon B has gotten off to a rough start as his new album Helpless Romantic debuted at No. 109 on this week's charts. Known for his hip-hop collaborations with Tupac Shakur, Nas, Paul Wall and others, the soulful artist's latest project pushed 4,800 after seven days in stores.
