THIS WEEK HIP-HOP ALBUMS SALES

In this week's Sales Wrap, T.I., aka the "King of the South," hits a triple on the "Trail," Ne-Yo and Jennifer Hudson maintain their Top 10 slots.

T.I. keeps his Paper Trail on track sliding down one notch on this week's charts. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Tip pushed a solid 93,400 units from retail stores this week and should reach platinum status next week with 971,000 copies sold after a month.

Ne-Yo continues to gather sales as his third Def Jam release, Year of the Gentleman, remained at No. 8 moving 30,700 units this week. After five weeks on shelves, the album has been certified gold with a total of 521,500 copies out the door.

Fans have not only sent prayers to Jennifer Hudson since her tragic loss last week, but have helped her stay in Top 10 by supporting her self-titled debut and snapping up 28,800 copies landing her at No. 9. The Chicago-bred singer has moved a total of 355,000 albums after a month in stores.

Making headlines this week touring alongside Jay-Z and Ne-Yo, Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter III stops at No. 10 this week selling 25,400 copies. Cash Money Records' top-selling artist has sold a total of 2,601,700 units on his latest release.

Video vixen Rihanna has no intention of moving out of the charts as her re-released Good Girl Gone Bad moves up to No. 12 selling a solid 21,400 albums this week. After nearly a year and a half on the charts, she is on the verge of going double platinum with 1,935,800 copies sold.

Offering fans a combination of advanced lyrics and smash hits, Young Jeezy's The Recession has slid down a notch to No. 15 selling 21,000 copies this week. His third Def Jam release is led by the smash hit "Vacation" and after two months on shelves has soars past gold status with 561,600 copies sold.

R&B newcomer Jazmine Sullivan's Fearless stands strong on the charts this week hitting No. 20 with 18,800 scanned albums. Led by the new hit single "Bust Your Windows," Sullivan's debut album has slowly turned out sales with 177,100 units sold after a month in stores.

British soul singer Leona Lewis refuses to leave the charts as her platinum-certified album Spirit reaches slides out of Top 20 landing at No. 24 selling 16,600 copies this week. The UK singer's debut has moved a solid 1,202,600 albums after 29 weeks in the US.

West Coast's The Game gives fans a lasting album as L.A.X. takes hold of No. 25 with a total of 16,500 albums sold this week. L.A.X., his third album, moves past gold after 9 weeks in stores with a total of 531,900 copies out the door.

The blue-eyed soul singer Robin Thicke takes a huge dip to No. 26 this week selling 16,200 units of Something Else. Following-up his platinum selling The Evolution of Robin Thicke, Thicke's latest release continues its steady pace with 218,100 copies sold.
