THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES



Leading the pack this week is Tech N9ne's All 6's & 7's opening up at No. 4 behind Book of Mormon's Original Cast Recording (60,700), Lady Gaga's Born This Way (100,200) and Adele's 21 (114,300). According to Nielsen SoundScan, Tech's latest offering has sold 55,800 pieces after seven days in stores.
Pop star Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans moved down three slots to No. 17 with 19,600. With 36 weeks knocked out, the singer's new album stands at 1,090,300 sold copies.
Veteran rap trio Beastie Boys' Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 received a one spot boost to No. 25 with 15,100. With six weeks in the books, their new LP has sold 242,700 records to date.
R&B singer Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. also moved up a notch settling in at No. 27 with 14,100. After three months on store shelves, the project rests at 609,900 moved units.
Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers dropped six positions to No. 29 with 13,800. Headed into his 12th week, the rapper's new LP stands at 445,000 sold records.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Loud moved six slots down to No. 30 with 13,600. With 30 weeks under her belt, RiRi's latest solo project has shelled out 1,312,400 copies.
Young Money star Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday fell four slots to No. 34 with 12,400. After 29 weeks in stores, her debut album has sold 1,419,500 records to date.
Latin singer Jennifer Lopez's Love? fell 19 positions to No. 38 with 12,000. Headed into her seventh week, J. Lo's new LP has scanned 183,900 copies.
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin's Hello Fear dropped 11 slots to No. 44 with 10,700. With three months in the books, his new LP stands at 275,400 sold pieces.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery moved up a notch to No. 45 with 10,300. After 51 weeks, his 2010 solo effort has sold 3,892,400 records.
Evening things out in Top 50 is Marsha Ambrosius' Late Nights & Early Mornings receiving a 13-slot boost to No. 50 with 8,800. After 15 weeks, her new record stands at 306,700 sold copies.
