THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES

Music veteran Sade's Soldier of Love comeback album once again reigned supreme on the charts holding on to No. 1 with 126,600. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the singer's comeback record has moved 820,200 copies after three weeks in stores.

Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) continues its dominance by moving down one slot to No. 4 with 50,100. Headed into their 39th week, the pop crew's latest effort keeps on selling with 2,181,400 records in the books.

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne's Rebirth slipped out of Top 5 this week moving down one slot to No. 6 with 37,600. With a month under his belt, the Young Money leader's experimental rock album has shelled out 361,400 records to date.

Music newcomer Ke$ha's Animal found its way back into the Top 10 moving up seven positions to No. 7 with 32,200. After two months, the singer's new album remains fierce with 407,100 records in the books.

Grammy-winning singer Alicia Keys' The Element of Freedom took a slight dip from Top 10 by falling six spots to No. 13 with 24,300. Headed into its 11th week in retail stores, the singer's new album has moved 1,102,000 copies to date.

Video vixen Rihanna's Rated R received a little four-spot boost to No. 14 with 23,900. With 14 weeks under her belt, the singer's latest effort rests at 687,700 sold copies.

R&B singer Jaheim's Another Round fell from Top 10 after moving down seven positions to No. 15 with 23,500. Moving into his first full month, the singer's new album has shelled out 171,600 records.

The Queen of R&B Mary J. Blige's Stronger lost a bit of momentum sliding down four spots to No. 17 with 21,900. With ten weeks in the books, the singer's latest solo project has pushed out 654,600 records.

R&B singer Trey Songz's Ready received a slight two-slot boost to No. 26 with 15,700. After 26 weeks, Trigger Trey's new album rests at 554,400 sold copies.

Roc Nation singer Melanie Fiona's Bridge moved up four positions to No. 27 with 15,200. With 17 weeks knocked out, the songbird's new album has moved 234,800 records.

The Young Money compilation, We Are Young Money, took a slight hit moving down eight positions to No. 29 with 15,100. Moving into its 11th week of availability, the compilation record has sold 345,800 units.

R&B singer Robin Thicke's Sex Therapy slid upward this week moving eight slots to No. 31 with 14,500. With 11 weeks in the books, the singer's new album rests at 325,800 sold copies.

Rap mogul Jay-Z's The Blueprint III slipped five spots to No. 37 with 13,500. With 25 weeks in the books, Jay's new solo album has moved 1,645,000 records.

Late iconic singer Michael Jackson's This Is It took a hard hit moving 11 slots to No. 46 this week. Moving into its 19th week, the compilation project rests at 1,493,400 sold units.

Evening things out in Top 50 this week is Gucci Mane's State vs. Radric Davis which moved down 12 slots to No. 50. After three months in stores, the rapper's new album has sold 290,100 records to date.
