THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Rated R made its way to the charts this week landing a spot at No. 4 as singer Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream debut pushed 700,800 records to become No. 1. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the singer's latest effort has sold 181,400 records after a week in stores.

The late Michael Jackson's This Is It soundtrack landed just outside of Top 10 as it fell four slots to No. 11 with 108,100. After five weeks on the charts, the iconic singer's compilation project has moved 890,400 copies to date.

G-Unit leader 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct took a hard hit falling 14 slots to No. 19 with 65,800 sold. With two weeks to his name and nearly a month of iTunes sales, the rapper's fourth solo project stands at 227,000.

Award-winning group Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) received a four slot boost to No. 21 moving 53,500. Headed into their 26th week, the group has sold 1,440,900 records to date.

Grammy-winning rapper Jay-Z's The Blueprint III also moved upward this week receiving a two position boost to No. 28 with 36,900. After three months, Hov's latest effort rests at 1,337,200 scanned discs.

Cash Money Records co-founder Baby's Priceless landed onto the charts this week debuting at No. 29. With seven days in the books, Birdman's new album has sold 35,800 records.

Cash Money's Jay Sean also made his way onto the charts this week as All Or Nothing opened at No. 33. After a week on shelves, the singer's new album has pushed 30,800 copies.

Grammy-winning singer Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce received a nine position boost to No. 37 with 26,300. After 54 weeks of power selling, the singer's third solo project has moved 2,533,300 records to date.

Evening things out in Top 50 is Leona Lewis' Echo which took a hard hit by falling 32 spots down to No. 45 with 23,000. After 14 days in stores, the singer's new album has sold 90,300 records.

R&B group Boyz II Men's Love debuted onto the charts this week earning a spot at No. 89. After a week in stores, the group album has sold 11,800 records.

Soulful singer Angie Stone's Unexpected also made its way onto the charts landing at No. 99. With a week to her name, the singer's new effort has moved 10,000 albums.

Dame Dash-directed effort, Blakroc, debuted onto the charts landing a spot at No. 125. Featuring guest appearances by Jim Jones and Mos Def, the album has sold 7,400 after a week in stores.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa's Deal Or No Deal got off to a shaky start this week landing at No. 148. The emcee's new release has shelled out 5,900 copies after seven days in stores.
