THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUMS SALES

Legendary singer Prince made his return to the charts as Lotus Flow3r debuted at No. 2. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Prince's new album sold 168,500 copies after seven days in stores.

Southern rap group UGK released their final group album UGK 4 Life which opened at No. 6. With seven days under their belt, the late Pimp C and Bun B's final disc sold 76,600 discs.

Ringtone record breaker Flo Rida's R.O.O.T.S. also debuted on the charts, landing at No. 8. After a week on store shelves, the Florida-based rapper has sold 55,400 records.

R&B singer Keri Hilson's In A Perfect World survived another week on the charts sliding seven slots to No. 11 with 37,000. Heading into her third week in stores, Hilson's debut has sold 131,500 albums.

Formerly known as "Lil," Bow Wow's New Jack City Pt. II hit the charts landing at No. 16. With a week under his belt, the rapper's new album stands at 30,900 sold discs.

Hitmaker The-Dream's Love Vs. Money fell four positions to No. 18 with 28,500. After a full month in stores, the singer's sophomore Def Jam release stands at 271,500 scanned albums.

Grammy-winning singer Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce remained at No. 21 with 22,800. Moving past her 20th week, Mrs. Carter's third solo project has sold 2,049,500 records.

Academy Award-winning singer Jamie Foxx continues to find his Intuition selling units as it slides one spot to No. 23 with 21,400. After 16 weeks, Foxx's latest release stands at 808,200 sold discs.

Self-proclaimed "King of the South" T.I.'s Paper Trail remained at No. 24 selling 21,300. Moving into his 28th week, Tip's sixth solo project rests at 1,858,100 sold albums.

Southern rapper Slim Thug's Boss of All Bosses fell 18 slots to No. 32 with 16,900. After 14 days, Thugga's latest album has sold 49,600 copies.

Byrd Gang leader Jim Jones' Pray IV Reign dropped 31 positions to No. 40 with 13,700. After two weeks in stores, the Capo's album rests at 56,700 scanned discs.

Slipping 14 slots out of Top 50, Ne-Yo secured No. 61 with 10,000 for his Year of the Gentleman album. After 29 weeks, the singer's third solo project has officially been certified platinum with 1,008,300 sold albums.
