THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES



Leading the pack this week is Beyonce's long-awaited 4 album landing at No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the singer's new LP has sold 310,700 copies after seven days in stores.
G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean's Finally Famous: The Album debuted on the chart this week at No. 3. With seven days under his belt, Sean's highly anticipated debut album has sold 87,300 copies. [Check out Big Sean's Buy My Record & Score]
R&B singer Jill Scott's Light of the Sun moved down four slots to No. 5 with 54,800. With two weeks in the books, her new LP has shelled out 190,400 records.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem and Royce Da 5'9's Hell: The Sequel collaborative album sold 42,200. Headed into their first full month, Bad Meets Evil's new joint project has sold 275,900 records to date.
Miami rapper Pitbull's Planet Pit slipped out of the Top 10 moving down seven slots to No. 14 with 28,400. After two weeks in stores, his new LP has sold 83,400 records.
New Orleans rapper Curren$y's Weekend At Burnie's debuted on the chart this week at No. 22. With seven days knocked out, his new retail mixtape has sold 22,600 pieces. [Check out Curren$y's Score]
Pop star Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans fell ten slots to No. 29 with 16,700. After 39 weeks in stores, the singer's album has sold 1,144,000 records.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery slipped six positions to No. 35 with 14,200. Headed into his 55th week, Slim Shady's 2010 release has sold 3,932,300 records to date.
Young Money star Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday dropped ten slots to No. 36 with 14,200. After 32 weeks, the self-proclaimed Barbie's debut album has sold 1,460,600 copies.
R&B singer Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. received a six-slot boost to No. 39 with 13,400. After 15 weeks on the chart, Chris Breezy's new LP stands at 648,100 sold pieces.
Rap duo LMFAO's Sorry For The Party Rocking dropped 28 slots to No. 40 with 13,300. With two weeks in the books, their new LP has sold 40,400 records.
Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers dropped six slots to No. 42 with 12,800. After 14 weeks, his Atlantic Records debut has sold 483,900 units.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Loud moved down five positions to No. 44 with 12,100. Headed into her 34th week, RiRi's new album has sold 1,350,000 records.
Comedic rapper Weird Al Yankovic's Alpocalypse dropped 36 slots to No. 45 with 11,600. With two weeks in the books, his new album has sold 55,800 pieces.

West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar's Section. 80 debuted on the chart this week at 113. After a week in stores, his new retail release has sold 5,300 copies.
