THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES
Pop group Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) fell two slots to No. 5 with 40,700 sold copies falling to Reba McEntire's Keep On Loving You which debuted at No. 1 with 95,800. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the group's latest offering has sold 958,200 records after 11 weeks on the charts.
Soulful singer Maxwell's Black Summer's Night dropped out of Top 10 by four slots landing at No. 11 with 30,300. Going into his second month in stores, the singer's comeback album has sold 661,400 units.
Reggae singer Sean Paul's Imperial Blaze debuted on the charts this week landing at No. 12. With a solid seven days under his belt, the singer's new project has sold 28,500 records.
Fabolous' Loso's Way took a slight four-slot dip to No. 19 with 18,400. Headed into his fifth week in stores, the rapper's latest effort rests at 178,000 scanned discs.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Relapse also dropped a few slots going down three positions to No. 22 with 17, 900. With 14 weeks under his belt, Slim Shady's comeback project has sold 1,379,600 albums to date.
R&B superstar Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce received a four slot boost to No. 40 with 11,000. Going into her 41st week, the singer's third solo project remains in Top 50 with 2,370,700 sold discs.
Soulful singer K'Jon's I Get Around evens things out in Top 50 dropping 18 slots to No. 50 with 9,900. After three weeks on shelves, the singer's new album has sold 56,900 copies.
Grammy-winning rapper T.I. took a hard 19-slot hit to No. 150 this week with 2,900. However, the "King" was able to secure 2,000,700 sold discs after 47 weeks on the charts which gives him double platinum status.
