THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES

The Black Eyed Peas continue their nine-week stay in Top 10 as E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) moves up one slot to No. 4 with 44,200 copies and loses to No. 1 album Sugarland's Live on the Inside which sold 75,900. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the pop group's latest effort has sold 872,200 records after nine weeks.

Soulful singer Maxwell's Black Summer's Night dropped four positions down to No. 7 with 43,300. With five weeks under his belt, the singer's comeback project has sold 593,000 records to date.

Fabolous' Loso's Way slipped eight positions to No. 9 this week with 37,000. After 14 days on shelves, the rapper's fifth solo album has moved 135,900 copies.

R&B singer K'Jon's I Get Around debuted on the charts this week making a soft landing at No. 12. His new album was able to secure 33,600 copies after seven days in stores.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Relapse took a slight six-position hit moving down to No. 19 with 22,300. Going into his 13th week in stores, the rapper's long-awaited release has sold 1,341,100 records to date.

R&B singer Jeremih's self-titled debut fell nine slots and landed at No. 34 with 13,500. The singer's Def Jam debut has sold a total of 151,700 pieces after six weeks on store shelves.

Rapper Dorrough's self-titled album landed on shelves last week and debuted at No. 36. With a week under his belt, the emcee's new project has pushed 12,700 copies after one week in stores.

Grammy-winning singer Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce remains on the charts falling three slots to No. 37 with 12,100. With 38 weeks under her belt, the singer's third solo album has sold 2,348,200 copies.

R&B singer Jordin Sparks' Battlefield dropped 19 slots to No. 40 with 11,200. After three weeks of availability, Sparks' latest effort has sold 76,800 albums.

Rap veteran Twista's Category F5 evens out Top 50 this week sliding 14 positions down to No. 44 with 10,300. Going into his fifth week, the Chicago-based rapper's EMI/Capitol debut has sold 87,600 records.
