THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUMS SALES

Maxwell's return to store shelves led the pack this week as Black Summer's Night debuted at No. 1. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the singer's latest effort pulled in 316,500 copies in seven days.

Pop group The Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) remained at No. 5 with 62,600. After a solid five weeks in stores, the Will.i.am-led group have sold 672,400 copies to date.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Relapse also remained in its same spot at No. 9 with 34,100. With two months under his belt, Slim Shady's fifth solo release has sold 1,241,500 records.

R&B singer Jeremih took a slight nine-slot dip to No. 15 as his self-titled Def Jam debut secured 28,500. Going into his third week in stores, the singer's new album has sold 87,500 units.

Grammy-winning singer Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce received a one-slot boost this week moving to No. 30 with 13,900. With 34 weeks in the books, the singer's third solo project has sold 2,297,000 records to date.

R&B singer Ginuwine's Man's Thoughts also moved up one slot to No. 34 with 11,300. Moving into his fourth week in stores, the singer's new album stands at 62,000 sold copies.

Singer Chrisette Michele's Epiphany moved back into the Top 50 sliding 26 positions to No. 35 with 11,300. After ten weeks in stores, the singer's new release has sold 216,900 records to date.

Evening things out within Top 50 this week is Keri Hilson's In A Perfect World which dropped five slots to No. 46 with 9,500. After four months on shelves, the singer's debut release stands at 387,000 sold discs.

Academy Award-winning singer Jamie Foxx's Intuition has officially sold over a million copies taking a two slot bump to No. 53 with 7,900. After 30 weeks in stores, the singer's latest release has sold 1,003,300 records.

Mobb Deep associate The Alchemist's Chemical Warfare debuted at No. 63 this week. After seven days in stores, the producer-turned-rapper's latest offering has sold 7,100 units.

The late Michael Jackson compilation disc, Stripped Mixes, also debuted at No. 95. The release pulled in 4,800 pieces after a week in stores.
