THIS WEEK'S HIP-HOP & R&B SALES

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery has shown no signs of slowing down as it scanned 195,500 records this week. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Slim Shady's latest offering has sold 1,482,500 records in one month of availability.

Following closely behind is Drake's Thank Me Later which slid one slot to No. 3 with 50,300. After five weeks in stores, Drizzy's debut album has pushed out 833,100 units.

British rap-rocker M.I.A.'s Maya debuted on the charts this week at No. 9. With seven days in the books, her new album has sold 29,000 records.

OutKast frontman Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot fell from Top 10 this week moving 11 spots to No. 14 with 25,800. After two weeks in stores, the rapper's first solo album has shelled out 88,600 units.

Grammy-winning singer Usher's Raymond V. Raymond moved down three notches to No. 20 with 17,700. With four months to his name, Usher's latest offering has sold 935,300 pieces.

Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) slipped one spot to No. 25 with 15,600. With 58 weeks in the books, the group's 2009 album has moved out 2,670,100 records.

R&B singer The-Dream's Love King took a hard hit this week dropping 17 positions down to No. 29 with 12,900. After three weeks in stores, the singer's new album stands at 94,800 sold pieces.

Grand Hustle rapper B.o.B.'s Adventures of Bobby Ray moved down four positions to No. 32 with 12,400. With three months knocked out, the Southern rapper's new album rests at 308,400 sold units.

Music newcomer Ke$ha's Animal slid two slots to No. 33 with 12,100. Heading into her 29th week, the singer's new album has sold 838,600 records to date.

Renowned hip-hop group The Roots' How I Got Over dropped 13 positions to No. 38 with 10,800. After one month in stores, their latest offering has sold 96,800 records.

Rap newcomer Curren$y's Pilot Talk debuted on the charts this week at No. 39. After seven days in stores, the rapper's new album has sold 10,800 units.

Grammy-winning singer Alicia Keys' Element of Freedom dropped 11 slots to No. 46 with 9,800. With 31 weeks in the books, her latest effort stands at 1,374,800 sold pieces.

Southern rapper Paul Wall's Heart of a Champion debuted on the charts this week at No. 58. After seven days of availability, the rapper's new album has sold 7,600 units.

Rounding things up in Sales Wrap this week is Capone-N-Nore's War Report 2 which debuted at No. 104. After seven days in the books, the New York duo's new album has sold 4,700 records.
