THIS WEEK HIP-HOP & R&B ALBUM SALES

Grammy-winning singer Alicia Keys' Element of Freedom found itself onto the charts landing at No. 2 while Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream remained atop the charts with 661,200 records. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the singer's fourth solo project has sold 419,700 records after seven days.

R&B singer Robin Thicke's Sex Therapy also made its way onto the charts this week with a spot at No. 9. With a week under his belt, Paula Patton's husband's new album has pushed out 123,200 records to date.

Late singer Michael Jackson's This Is It compilation disc slid one slot to No. 11 with 104,800. After two months, the iconic singer's record has moved 1,153,00 to date.

Award-winning group Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) received a three-slot boost to No. 18 with 81,900. Headed into their 29th week, the group's latest offering rests at 1,635,600 copies.

R&B singer Rihanna's Rated R also moved up a bit this week sliding upward seven positions to No. 21 with 77,700. After a month on shelves, the singer's comeback album has moved 368,300 records.

Chris Brown's Graffiti took a hard hit moving down 24 positions down to No. 31 with 53,800. With 14 days in the books, the singer's third solo album has sold 155,600 copies.

Late singer Michael Jackson's Number Ones received a one-slot boost to No. 32 with 51,800. After 52 weeks, Jackson's compilation album has sold 3,986,700 discs.

Incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane's State Vs. Radric Davis fell hard moving down 31 slots to No. 41. After two weeks, the rapper's new album has sold 131,200 records.

Evening things out in Top 50 is Jay-Z's The Blueprint III which moved up seven slots to No. 45 with 37,900. Going into his 16th week, Hov's new album has scanned 1,431,200 records.

R&B singer Chris Brown made his comeback this week as Graffiti debuted at No. 7, falling behind Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream which moved 582,000 records this week. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Breezy's third solo album has sold 101,900 copies after seven days in stores.

Incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane's State Vs. Radric Davis also landed onto the charts securing a spot at No. 10. The Southern emcee's latest effort rests at 90,000 after a week on store shelves.

Late singer Michael Jackson's This Is It soundtrack fell out of the Top 10 moving down four slots to No. 12 with 82,800. After seven weeks of availability, the compilation project has reached platinum status with 1,048,200 records.

Pop group Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) received a two-position boost to No. 21 with 63,200. Headed into their 28th week, the group's latest effort moves steady at 1,553,700 sold copies.

Hot Boys' B.G. made his debut onto the charts this week as Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood snagged a spot at No. 77. Headed into his second week, the Southern rapper's new album rests at 18,800.

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Rated R made its way to the charts this week landing a spot at No. 4 as singer Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream debut pushed 700,800 records to become No. 1. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the singer's latest effort has sold 181,400 records after a week in stores.

The late Michael Jackson's This Is It soundtrack landed just outside of Top 10 as it fell four slots to No. 11 with 108,100. After five weeks on the charts, the iconic singer's compilation project has moved 890,400 copies to date.

G-Unit leader 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct took a hard hit falling 14 slots to No. 19 with 65,800 sold. With two weeks to his name and nearly a month of iTunes sales, the rapper's fourth solo project stands at 227,000.

R&B group Boyz II Men's Love debuted onto the charts this week earning a spot at No. 89. After a week in stores, the group album has sold 11,800 records.

Soulful singer Angie Stone's Unexpected also made its way onto the charts landing at No. 99. With a week to her name, the singer's new effort has moved 10,000 albums.

Dame Dash-directed effort, Blakroc, debuted onto the charts landing a spot at No. 125. Featuring guest appearances by Jim Jones and Mos Def, the album has sold 7,400 after a week in stores.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa's Deal Or No Deal got off to a shaky start this week landing at No. 148. The emcee's new release has shelled out 5,900 copies after seven days in stores.
